Aromatherapy uses essential oils and other aromatic plants to revitalize and relax the mind. Aromatherapy essential oils are the pure essence of the plants, known to cure certain forms of disease. One should know that these essential oils have a pleasant smell and relaxing are the same as perfume oils or fragrances. Perfume oils contain artificial compounds, compared with natural essential oils that have therapeutic and healing benefits.

Not all essential oils should be used in aromatherapy.
