Massage Therapy : What Training Is Needed to Be a Massage Therapist?
Has anyone been to a massage school in British Columbia (Canada)?
Ie, West Coast College of Massage Therapy or school Vancouver Bodywork and Massage …? If you are currently happy in your profession or if you are a student, what will you do after school? What what was the reason for entering the massage therapy? I'm looking to study in BC due to an RMT must have a value of 3,000 hours of training .. it just seems as if the depth of teaching is better compared to other programs … 600 hours .. 1000 hours .. but I guess if you're a great massage anyway, then hours training does not matter. And also, what kind of person you were / are to carry out this profession ..? I am very loving and really want to help people. I'm really into holistic healing and natural. Love being in relaxing environments. I think massages are amazing .. and good give and take. Money is obviously a incentive, but in general I think this is a good career match for me. Input from those of / practice in the business?
I live in Canada, (Ontario) but I suggest a career in massage therapy. I was actually thinking about it around September or not to implement it as a backup to the universities if they are not accepted at any university. But they do more or less 20,000 a year. It is a very unstable, some days you will have customers and other days not. I suggest going to a job stable as nursing. If you can not get into the University Degree Program of Nursing (registered nurse) apply to the college nurse (Practice Nursing). Good luck
