For this one, we’re going to talk about different types of lubricants that you can use in the massage process. Any good massage is going to require a small amount of lubricant in order to keep your recipient’s skin from kneading, and so that all pressure can be worked on muscle’s underneath the skin – not at the exterior.
There are four different options for lubricants. All of them work, but some of them might be a lot better received from your recipients.
The first lubricant is talcum powder. It absorbs less friction than other oils, but since some people hate the feeling of having sticky things on their skin, it is an option. Any kind of talcum powder will work fine, and it does help the massage process.
Another not-as-sexy option is vegetable oil. Obviously this isn’t ideal, but if you’re in need of some quick lubricant, this works. As you know, the smell isn’t the best – but again – if a quick massage is in order, use this.
You may also use water-based lubricants such as KY Jelly or Astroglide. While these are extremely sticky when they dry, you’ll want to use them if you plan on having sex after the massage. Other oils will make your condom more prone to breaking. These lubricants are also a bit more expensive, but again, depending on what you’re doing after the massage, they’re something to keep in mind.
Your last option is to use massage oils. This is obviously the most popular option.
In conclusion, all of these have their place in a massage. To use any of them, rub a small amount of lubricant in your hands and gently rub it into your recipient’s neck, back, and shoulders. The key word here is SMALL (amount) – you don’t want anything to get too wet.
Also, if you’re using a cold lubricant, ensure that you warm up your recipient before giving the massage.
Overall, selecting the right lubricant is of tremendous importance to giving the right massage.
