can you tell me some ways on how to sell my own soy candles?
i dont want a store. and i dont want to mass email cuz thats spamming. i have a website and i’m on 2 forums that allow you to advertise on. my friend is helping me pass out fliers around the area. do you have any other suggestions? these are 100% pure soy candles that can be used as a massage oil, moisterizer lotion, and candle; depending on the scent. these candles last longer than all other types. just to give you a basic as to what i have to go with. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
try hooking up with your local farmers markets and setting up a booth. you can also look into art fairs, etc. to see what it would cost to set up a booth. check out the local schools, daycares, or afterschool programs to add your candles to their fundraisers or raffles. look in your local phone book for consignment shops. also try boutiques that might buy your candles at a discount in bulk.
if you are trying to do this over the internet, try looking for free classified ads, blogs and message boards that are of a natural base. you can also look into companies that barter.
joining business groups is also another way to get your name out there. you want to get traffic to your site so that the search engines will list it. make deals with other websites to add your link to their website.
lastly, ebay. but go to one of those ebay stores that will post and sell your items for you (for a nominal fee of course).
