Employers have rapidly begun to understand the importance of alleviating stress in the workplace. Stress free employees have a retention rate of more high and increasing rates of productivity. It is not surprising, given these facts, many companies have been encouraging, chair massages in the workplace.
Corporate chair massages involve a visit from a licensed massage therapist for on-site massage sessions. The therapist brings a portable massage chair and usually gives 15 to 20 minute massage for all employees concerned. Employees have to get a break from the monotony of their time and can return to work with very low stress levels.
Corporate chair massages are different from other types of massage. Workers can receive fully clothed massage in your office dress and the therapist does not use oil or ointments others in the process. The therapist can target areas prone to stress relieve the pressure of those who sit at a desk all day.
Companies may choose to offer this as an employee benefit. Some large companies will pay full price for the massage, while others pay a portion. The employee is then responsible for the remainder of the fee. Some companies allow therapists on site, but do not contribute to the cost. This is becoming one of the benefits of most popular employees, in addition to traditional benefits packages.
Some studies have reported that the implementation of corporate chair massage reduces sickness in the workplace. With the reduction of stress, happier employees and lower rates of absenteeism, it is surprising that all company hasnÂ't jumped on the train about massage instead.
A massage therapist could probably spend all day telling you the benefits of corporate massage. It has been proven that massage can relieve tension and help prevent neck and back problems in common. Employees working with computers for most of their day can also suffer from tension headaches. Massage therapy is also an excellent tool to address this and many other common ailments.
