Popular essential oils with healing properties

Aromatherapy uses essential oils to treat common diseases. This article describes some popular essential oils with healing properties.

1. Juniper

Juniper oil has been used for hundreds of years as a household disinfectant.

Juniper essential oil is useful for:

Acne 1.: Mix four drops of juniper oil, 2 tablespoons (10 ml) of carrier oil and gently massage the face and neck (and shoulders if acne is present there).

2. Cystitis and period pain Mixed in carrier oil and rub the lower abdomen at regular intervals. Also add five or six drops of bath water and soak for at least fifteen minutes.

3. Muscular / rheumatic pain: Use of massage or bath

4. Poor blood circulation: Juniper oil is stimulating. The use in the bathroom, or carrier oil daily to improve circulation.

5. Stress and Anxiety: It is used for massage, bath or vaporizer.

2. Jasmine

The essential oil is extracted from the jasmine flower. This oil has a beautiful, exotic aroma and is very useful in cases of extreme anxiety Talk with her. One of the more expensive oils and is often used in the manufacture of perfumes.

Jasmine essential oil is useful for:

1. Dry, sensitive, mature skin: Use massage oil company to add a couple drops of rose water and use as air freshener.

Exhaustion Nervous 2.: Using the company's oil for massage or inhale.

3. Menstrual pain: Use oil company and a massage in the lower abdomen and back, at regular intervals.

3. Lemon

It takes 3000 lemons to produce 2 pounds (1 kg) of essential oil. It is extracted by pressing the skin of the fruit.

Lemon essential oil is useful for:

Bites 1. And stings: Dab pure oil on the bite or sting.

2. Catarrh / colds: Mix in carrier oil and massage the face and head, or inhale.

3. Chilblains: Mix carrier oil and gently rub the affected areas three to four times a day. Or use in a footbath, soaking the feet for fifteen minutes.

4. Cold sores: DAB with a cotton swab that has been soaked in 2 teaspoons (10 ml) of boiling water to which 5 drops of oil have been added.

5. Mouth sores: DAB in clean oil, or gargling add five drops in a medium sized glass of water.

6. Warts: DAB with cotton soaked in pure essential oil several times a day.
