What is the difference between the carrier oils and essential oils?
The essential oils in aromatherapy are highly concentrated and powerful. Oils essential adversely affect the skin if used undiluted. Although there are some essential oil exceptions that can be used directly on the skin. It is ideal to dilute essential oils and carrier oils.
carrier oils are of vegetable origin which have highly therapeutic properties. Extracted from nuts and cold-pressed seeds, as this process does not destroy the essential fatty acids and vitamin content.
Carrier oils provide lubrication very necessary to allow the hands to move freely on the skin, helping with the absorption of essential oils in the body. Carrier oils are light, non sticky and effectively penetrate skin. Must be 100% pure, unrefined and cold pressed.
1 drop of essential oil = 1 teaspoon of carrier oil to dilute 1%. 2 drops of oil key 1 teaspoon of carrier oil = 2% dilution and so on.

– Oil Apricot Kernel – light, easily absorbed and hydrates the body and face well. Contains vitamin E. Extracted from the kernel of the apricot fruit is pale yellow. A and B vitamins help in healing and rejuvenating skin cells. Good for all skin types especially for sensitive, inflamed and dry skin. Excellent for facial oil, leaving the face soft and supple.
– Avocado Oil – Rich in lecithin, vitamins A, D and E. easily penetrates the skin, acts as a shield solar and aid in cell regeneration. A mixture of zinc oxide in a half bottle of avocado oil and apply on skin that is exposed to the sun. Delays anti aging, because it is rich in essential fatty acids. For intensive facial treatment for mature skin and refined Avocado oil is preferred because it has no odor.
– Seed oil Grape – unlike most oils, odorless, lightweight and good for the skin does not absorb other oils. No greasy feeling after application. Slightly astringent, hard, tones the skin and treats acne. An ideal companion for body massage.
– Jojoba Oil – One of the best oils for hair and skin. Quickly penetrates the skin, excellent for skin nutrition. Cure the inflamed skin psoriasis, eczema or any type of dermatitis. Controls acne oily skin or scalp as excess sebum dissolves in jojoba. Good for all skin types, but sometimes clog pores. Good base oil for treating rheumatism and arthritis. Promotes healthy complexion, glowing.
– Rosehip Oil – Called the Queen of carrier oil. Good oil for cosmetics, regeneration cells prevents premature aging of the skin and smooths wrinkles. Good for eczema, psoriasis, PMS and menopause. When combined with calendula oil, dealing with stretch marks, burns or scars. Cold pressed rosehip seed is pale yellow light texture. Wonderful carrier oil for skin care.
– Sweet Almond Oil – Popular oil company in the body massage. Lubricates and moisturizes the skin. Good for all skin types, especially eczema. Quickly absorbs into the skin, leaving skin to feel soft and not fat. Provides relief from itching, pain, dryness, inflammation. Rich in protein and vitamin D.
– Calendula Oil – infusion of marigold flowers, known for its soothing properties. The oily excess balances may be used singly or in combination with almond oil or grape seed body massage.
– Evening primrose oil – perfect oil skin care to hydrate, soften and soothe dry and irritated skin.
– The wheat germ oil – oil highly nutritious with vitamin E. Ideal for dry, mature and lifeless.
– Sunflower oil – Used for treatment facials and body massage. It has good moisturizing and softening properties.
– Oil St. John's wort – Hypericum infusions of the bush, excellent for all skin types tender, red and sore.
– Coconut – Perfect moisturizer for hands and body. Light, easily absorbed through the skin that give soft satin effect. Moisturizes and conditions hair brittle, dull or dry.
