I love the aroma of lavendar and the health properties associated with it. This particular product is excellent for promoting hair growth; for preventing scars and for aromatherapeutic uses. It has a gentle aroma and feels quite pleasant on the skin. It can also be used on bites to reduce itching. You can also place a drop of this oil on a towel in your bathroom so as to have a pleasant aroma.

I am new to oils and have been told lavender is great to help relax. After searching for a pure oil that won’t leave an overwhelming smell, I purchased this one based on the reviews. I have tried it and I like very much. The smell is great not real strong but you still get the benefits of what you would look for in a lavender scent.

I love this lavender oil, I use it in my home rather than other ‘home fragrance’ sprays. Works well to diffuse the odors from a stinky diaper pail! And I don’t have to worry about my son breathing in chemicals that might be harmful to him. Plus, lavender is supposed to be calming, so the bedroom seems like the perfect place to use this scent.

I love lavender i use it for everything. headaches, going to bed faster, calming down relaxing,
its a very good oil. i heard somewhere that it can be used for piercings but that is not true, oils aren’t good for piercings cuz the piercing can’t breathe through oil so it doesn’t heal. i do use it so i don’t scar on wounds and what not. it works wonders.

Smells absolutely wonderful. It’s great to use on laundry especially if you use unscented detergents. You could also add some of this to a bottle of coconut and Jojoba oil! Great stuff! I wish I got a bigger size.

I was pleased to receive this bottle of Lavender oil as quickly as I did. The lavender oil smells nice, but the true lavender scent is not as strong as I had hoped. I have never bought lavender oil before, so perhaps this is how they all are. I wanted to make a linen spray with the oil. I only wish there were more to the contents, but I am happy with it overall.

No bubbles

I purchased this bath crystals from Amazon. I like this product because it smells very nice and it does not bubble. We have a jacuzzi bath tub and it is important that the bath crystals do not bubble because the bubbles overflow when the jets are moving the water.

Pure Essential oil…

There is a difference between a lavender “perfume oil” (mostly synthetic) which smells much nicer than a pure essential oil. Pure oils are not synthetic, and are responsible for the healing properties of oils. Thay may be used in small quantities in perfumes, but usually synthetics are used because essential oil is very “volatile” (meaning it evaporates quickly). The purity of this oil is excellent and great for all uses requiring a pure essential oil. As a licensed aromatherapist (UK & NZ), I am quite happy with this oil-it is a great value for the price. Also recommended is : “Gattefosse’s Aromatherapy: The First Book on Aromatherapy” by
Rene-Maurice Gattefosse (Author), Robert B. Tisserand (Editor) ~ a wonderful book that explains the “science” behind Aromatherapy & it’s discovery by the chemist (1880’s) Gattefosse.

Not as pleasant an aroma as expected

I was expecting a more pleasant aroma. It’s borderline unpleasant. This is my first essential oil purchase so I don’t know if it’s because I got a bad batch, or if it’s this species of lavender, or if all lavender oils smell this way. Needless to say I won’t be purchasing it again, I’ll try some other oil.

not quite lavender

I am a huge lavender fan! This bottle of 100% pure lavender essential oil doesn’t smell exactly like lavender to me. I have many lavender products but this lavender scent is not what I am familiar with. I cannot pinpoint what it smells like…don’t get me wrong, it’s still a nice scent. I’ll still use it but will look elsewhere for another lavender oil.

Lavender is my favorite scent, am I please with this incense. It doesn’t smell exactly like lavender, but the smell is quite nice and I have received compliments on the aroma. It’s not too intense or offensive, but not too weak either. I also prefer this type of stick to the ones that have wooden sticks. It’s a shorter yet long burning stick, as opposed to some much longer though faster burning ones I’ve tried, and when it burns out there’s no little piece of wooden stick left over to throw away. A- because it doesn’t smell like a true lavender.

In my experience, most incense is nasty nose-crinkling, throat-choking, eye-watering stuff that never smells like the scent it claims to be: And then there’s Japanese incense. This is the second brand I’ve tried and I’m pleased with it as the first (though technically, while the Morning Star company was founded in 60’s Japan, the incense is now made in Hong Kong, but let’s not quibble-this is GOOD stuff!)

Here, you get 50 fine rolled sticks, marginally thinner than a small match and 12cm/just under 5″ long with a burn time of around 20-30 minutes, and it smells delicately and pleasantly of the flavor written on the box, so you can breathe easy and enjoy the far reaching fragrance.
A tiny ceramic square tile holder with a pretty relief flower is included but you will need something slighty larger to place this on to catch the ashes.

After reading all reviews here i was expecting something much better. First, the smell is so intense that it makes the eyes itchy after a few minutes. Second it does not get cold enough. The only pro is that is very soft. I bet you can get something better and cheaper than this one. just my opinion.

Wonderfully Relaxing

Although the candle was a little smaller than I had anticipated (it did have the size listed in the description so that was my own miscalculation) it smells wonderful, is great for when meditating or trying to unwind. The product arrived early and had two little surprise gifts included that were certainly a very nice touch (and also smell wonderful). I would definitely buy from this company again.

This soap is great! It’s long lasting and wonderfully aromatic. For those worried about price, I buy it at my local Dollar Tree stores for $1 a bar. However, even at Amazon’s price it is a wonderful value.

Excellent quality soap!

Yardley English Lavender French milled soap has a true lavender fragrance and makes a very nice lather. The bar lasts quite some time and it will last even longer if it is aged for a few months prior to use (although it will lose some of the smell) so I usually unwrap it and place it in my dresser drawers and linen closet where it gives a clean, delicate scent to the items stored there.

Not only is this a good quality soap, it is readily available and is much less expensive than soap of similar quality imported from Europe. The English Rose and and especially the Lemon Verbena scents are also quite nice but the lavender remains my favorite. If you have stuck with Ivory and have never used a French milled soap, give this a try. Highly recommended.

This is beautiful soap. Its aroma is delicious, making it a pleasure to walk by the closet where it is stored. However, I ordered 10, thinking I would receive 10 bars. I was shocked to discover that I had received 10 packets of four– 40 bars of soap. That explained its apparently high price. Amazon should make this clear but it has been a pleasure giving the surplus to friends.

This is the best purchase I have made in a long time. The moist heat helps with my tension headaches and the lavender scent helps me to relax. The quality of this product is great.
