I have had acne since childhood and have tried almost every product under the sun to get rid of it. My sensitive skin transitioned to combination and was constantly red from all the products so finally I had had enough. This oil is amazing! A few drops covers my entire face as a moisturizer in the morning or can be blended with a moisturizer for a boost. It is lightweight and doesn’t feel oily on. I have left all my old harsh products behind and am using all natural now. I wish I would have done this years ago!

An incredible oil!!!

I have always had very dry arms and legs. Even though the rest of my body was extremely oily. Even though I covered my legs and arms in moisturizer, they still were very dry, with thick, cracked skin. When I was in high school I remember being so embarrassed when a boy who held my hand commented about how rough it was. I found out about jojoba oil when I was researching conditioning for my dry, curly hair. After I put the oil in hair I rubbed the excess into my hands. Even after showering the next morning, my hands felt incredible!!! So that night I used a small amount on my arms and legs. It feels like a miracle oil for me. And then I learned that it is biologically similar to human sebum. I wonder if all my body’s sebum pores are concentrated on my torso and face and lacking in my extremities. This oil has made my arms and legs feel like they have never felt my whole life. Will never be without jojoba oil again!!!!!

I picked up the 100% pure version at Trader Joes. It’s been only a week since I started using jojoba and I am in love. I originally picked it up because I get whiteheads on my nose and was told that jojoba helps. So far I’ve noticed an improvement in the short time, my skin is so soft and clean looking. I’m using it as a makeup remover also.
I also have seborrhea on the back of my scalp so I thought why not try rubbing jojoba on that as well. In just the week since I’ve started, a massive difference. I’ve had this condition since I was a little kid, I’ve tried a lot of different treatments, this by far has given the best results. I haven’t really used it on my hair. My hair is already really healthy, so the one time I rubbed the oil in my hair I didn’t notice a difference.
Since it’s summer now, I have started using this on my feet. In a weeks time, my heels are baby soft.
I’ve been so happy with the jojoba oil I’m now recommending it to friends and family.

I really like this oil. It’s not as greasy as I thought it would be. It sinks into my skin after a few minutes and I don’t have to worry about it ruining my clothes. I usually apply this on my skin at night. I only use this on my body not on my face and I’ve had no body breakouts. I’ve only been using this product for about a month. I gave it 4/5 stars because so far I don’t feel like it’s this big miracle product. I’m happy with the product and would repurchase but I wouldn’t die they stopped making it.

Organic or 100% pure. There is a big difference but not less effective.

Well I have two of the same branded jojoba oil.

One is organic and the other is 100% pure. They are slightly different.

The organic has a funny odor. It kind of smells like used cooking grease. A little unsettling but the smell is not strong and I use it only on my body and hair at night (then take a shower in the morning).

I use the 100% pure oil on my face to moisturize. There is no smell at all.

The oil in general is great. It doesn’t have a greasy feel on my skin.

When I use it on my face right after I wash it, I put two drops all over my face. It feels soft and clean. I have acne prone skin and this oil doesn’t make me break out. That is a big factor for me because throughout the day my face gets really greasy and gross and then I start to break out. The oil feels light on my face and makes my skin soft and healthy. Sometimes I accidentally put too much on and my face and becomes definitely shiny so I just take a blotting sheet and take off the extra shine but no harm done.

When I use the organic oil on my skin and hair, After I take a shower and my hair dries, it is soft and manageable. I really like it a lot. There is a difference in using it. When I do not use it and go about my daily routine, my hair feel drier.

I have been using this for about a month and I like it a lot.

I would probably go with the 100% oil because it is odorless.

Jojoba oil is so good to your skin , i apply to my face everynight before i go to sleep, it’s look like too oily after you applyed, but it’s absorbed so quickly to your skin. In two weeks i got the results my skin is glowing and look so healthier. this is a wonderful product. i ‘ll keep buying this forever.

Plastic Bottle – Not Glass

If you are buying jojoba oil, you are aware of the benefits. My problem with this brand is that the bottle is plastic, not glass. The people who grow the jojoba bean expressly recommend that the jojoba oil should be stored in glass, never plastic. I returned this item immediately and without problem to Amazon. My only complaint was nowhere in the product description was the jojoba container identified as either glass or plastic. A waste of time and the return shipping fees. Oh well.

Great on hair/scalp and face

Good to to use on hair. I mix it with rosemary and sage oil as a scalp treatment before shampooing. Make hair look smooth and shiny and scalp feels good.

I use this on my face/neck in the summer time since it is lightweight. But in the winter months, I mix it with either shea butter or liquid lanolin. NOW makes a lot of great products. I highly recommend NOW products.

GREAT for brittle, damaged nails

I had been seeing a dermatologist for years, to no avail, for severe peeling, brittle nails and eczema. After one month of massaging Jojoba oil to my nails, cuticles and hands, my nails are strong and healthy and eczema is in check. I also add it to my mositurizer, body lotion and a small amount to hair. Just the BEST, HIGHLY recommend to ALL!!!

not as hyped up to be

It did not do anything for me. I have combination skin and a few lines are beginning to show. But this product did nothing. I have to apply after a few hours because when I look in the mirror and it’s the same combination skin. Oily on some parts, dry on other parts. I think this product is better in combination with other ingredients found in moisturizers that contain it…e.g. like with shea butter or other humectants. But by itself it does not do the job. I went back to my Crisco shortening that I apply at night. And to drinking enough water. And lots of fruits and vegetables. And accepting the fact that no matter how we try to retard it, age eventually will creep up on us. I guess the other secret is keeping your heart clean of intentions without intentional malice to hurt other human beings or be above people. Strive to be kind always no matter who you are dealing with. That will brighten your aura. Kids will love you and will be attracted to you. The camera will capture your beautiful aura and you’ll be photogenic, and you will age slowly.

Works well, no smell

The bottle seems so small when you get it, but it lasts for a very long time. I originally bought it with the intention of using it to massage my fiance’s back, but it absorbed so quickly I wouldn’t recommend it for that purpose.

I have heard that jojoba oil is good for dandruff. My fiance has had bad dandruff his entire life and no shampoo seemed to put a dent in it. Whenever anyone met him, the first thing they would notice is the “snow” on his shoulders. We added a bit of this to his Selsun Blue shampoo (the moisturizing one) and it treated his dandruff! Literally, after one use, there were no flakes. It also made the scent of the shampoo more powerful.

Admittedly, we just got lucky the first time. When we bought the next bottle of shampoo, we had to play around with the amount of oil we added to get the same effect. I HIGHLY recommend this product if you have dandruff and have tried everything else. This was a miracle!

Leaves skin feeling nice and smooooth

I use after shower/dry skin brushing and it leaves my skin feeling sooo smoooooth…it’s not very oily either which is super nice, and I can definitely see the change in my skin, much softer than before..only reason I am not giving a 5 star is that I feel it was a bit over priced for such a small quantity…if I could just get more for my money I’d be much happier.

Even though I just got this product a week ago I’m confident that it’s a good product and it shipped really quickly. I’ve heard that the organic version has a funny smell that’s why I opted for this one. I use it for my hair and my face it’s a bit greasy on my face and in general and a little goes a longggggg way.

Organic or 100% pure. There is a big difference but not less effective.

This is nice oil, but it’s very minty, and therefore, “cooling,” but not necessarily relaxing because of the strong smell– next time I would try something with lavender.

Nice oil

This oil is really good. It’s goes on smooth and silky and is easily absorbed by the skin. The scent isn’t too over-powering. The only negative thing I have to say is that I myself haven’t had it used on me.

I’m a massage therapist and I work at a Franchise that provides lotion (Biotone) — I prefer the Soothing Touch — as it does not get stickey as it begins to dry. I buy my own lotion and bring it to work. This is the best product for the money I have found.

excellent massage lotion

I have been a licensed massage therapist for 15 years now, have worked in some very high end spas, and on my own, this stuff is good! it is all that I could want in a massage lotion, a little goes a long way, can do deep work, and gliding motions, does not smell, does not leave stains in linens, I do not understand the significance of some of the ingredients as other reviews complain about, but where did she get her percentages of these ingredients and such? granted it has propylene glycol as an ingredient but so do many vitamin supplements, so does anti freeze I believe, what is that anyway? propylene; a gaseous hydrocarbon of the alkene series, made by cracking alkanes. so what does that mean? the other review says it has petroleum, is this what they were referring to? do they know what they are talking about? the first ingredient is organic aloe, it also has jojoba oil, tea extracts, arnica, so yes there is a scent, but you have to stick it in your nose to smell it basically, a great massage lotion by all practical means, glad I tried it, will stick with it, great price, quick delivery, 1/2 gal fits in a flat rate U.S. mail carton.

I bought this for a client that wanted a lotion instead of my usual oil. This “unscented” lotion has a strange smell to it. It does not glide well. I bought it because I am a fan of Jojoba but this product has more propylene glycol(petroleum product)than jojoba in it.

I love this lotion!! It is truly an all purpose massage lotion, whether you’re using it for deep tissue, Swedish, reflexology or other modalities. I agree that is does have a scent, but I find it pleasant and not at all over powering. Sometimes I add essential oils if I want to enhance my client’s experience.
This is an incredible value. My total order, including shipping, was what I would have paid the competitors for the lotion only.

NOT unscented.

I’ve been looking for a lotion that included jojoba (for sensitive skin) and arnica (for muscle ease) and this looked to be a winning combination. For all but one thing, this lotion fits the bill nicely.

It spreads very well and requires a minimum of application for a large area. It also makes for smooth massage strokes with _just_ enough grab for deep work when needed. (My) skin absorbs this lotion evenly and not too quick. So, for massage work, it is very nice with one exception: it is NOT unscented. It does, indeed, carry its own unique scent that can be overpowering if you aren’t prepared for it, at close quarters. While I did not find the scent to be offputting, it does tend to make me a bit stuffy in the nose after a short time.
