Jati is also used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine to reduce fever and to strengthen the immune system.
The flowers of the jasmine plant are also used to make herbal teas. The Chinese have been using Arabian jasmine, at least from 300 to scent teas. The flowers of Arabian jasmine plant are known in China as mo li, which are prized in China as a flavoring agent. In traditional Chinese medicine and practice, Arabian jasmine blossoms were placed next to the dry heat so that green tea green tea absorbs the scent of jasmine flowers. These days, commercial tea makers simply mix the petals of jasmine flowers with regular tea.
Infusions Jasmine tea is recommended for the treatment of infections, urinary inflammation and fever, as well as aspirin are used to reduce pain and fever.
