So you want to learn the art of scented candle-making. I do not blame you! There's nothing like the sweet smell of a scented candle. 1. Wait until you're almost ready to pour melted wax into the pot drain before adding your scent.
This act maintains the evaporation to a minimum. Thus, you can actually use less fragrance and enjoy more!
2. Do not add scent too.
Is a common mistake – especially for those of us who are new to make scented candle. I know that certainly made this mistake (several times!) When I started making candles. Adding too much fragrance can cause staining or pitting of the candle wax itself. This not only remains the appeal of your sail, but also makes it more difficult to remove the candle from the mold.
Making scented candles is very satisfactory. A candle is a beautiful thing in sight. But when you add a wonderful aroma that turns into something out of this world!
