Ingredients

• 1 teaspoon borax
• Vinegar 1 / 4 cup
• 2 cups water
• 30 drops of essential oil

Getting There

Boil water. Pour into a large glass measuring cup or pitcher with spout. Add the borax and stir until dissolved. Add the vinegar. Let cool, then pour the mixture into a spray bottle. Drop in essential oils.

Note: Add the essential oils After pouring the cleaner into the bottle because the scent of essential oil can "stick" your measuring cup or pitcher.

Caution: Do not use this recipe to clean windows, mirrors or glass and it will cause stretch marks. The secret of homemade spray for glass is only for use vinegar and essential oils. Fill a spray bottle with white vinegar, drop in a few essential oils and voila! cut a fat-free striped scented glass cleaner!

Essential oils for homemade cleaning solutions

• 20 drops of lavender
• 10 drops lemon
