This oil smells great (I use Lavender) and it is very smooth and easy to use for a firm massage. It also goes a long way, it is not messy but it does not dry up or soak in to fast either. Excellent Product.

Great massage oil

I was leery about buying this type of product online, since you can’t smell or feel it. But I was very pleasantly surprised. The oil is amazingly fragrant, with a variety of soothing scents. I ordered the lavender oil, and while that was the dominant scent, traces of sunflower oil and others are occasionally noticed. This is great for a good backrub or massage.

I just got my green fig hand cream and body oil in the mail today- and I am in love… I use the body oil right after a shower, it is fragrant and absorbs well into the skin. the hand cream isn’t thick and luxurious like l’occtaine’s… i don’t know if it was damaged by heat in shipping… it’s consistency is more like lotion- but it still moisturizes my skin fabulously and doesn’t feel greasy. The green fig scent is very much like bvlgari’s green tea perfume…. straight out of the tube and bottle it does kind of remind me of bug spray- but once it mellows out on my skin it smells wonderfully fresh. I can’t wait to test the other scents!

Summer fresh moisture

I have the pleasure of owning the Verbena scent, with rich, slightly lemony and part bitter herbal tang in a silky oil that is wonderful after a shower, massaged right in or added to a warm bath. I might also add that it’s simply marvelous as massage oil, releasing tension as warm hands rub the muscles and the aromas are released.

This oil is a blend of grapeseed, sweet almond and olive oils, which I buy on their own for adding into lotions of splashing on in the shower for fragrant and soft skin. The Verbena scent is a wonderful mix of lime, jasmine, mint and fresh summer mornings, when the breeze swirls the sheer curtains and sunny air fills the space. This oil in the morning puts a smile on my face and adds a lovely perfume to my skin, and I use it as a moisturizer more than as a massage oil unless I can force my boyfriend to give me one : )

This is a must for sweet nights and good mornings and with so many rich flavors its not easy to choose but who said life was easy, sometimes a girl has to buy more than one scent…

Not pure lavender oil but it works well. It is not too greasy and it is very flexible in the way it can be used. You can use it in baths, after shower/bath or in massages. Better than advertised.

This is a win-win product. It smells good, leaves your skin refreshed & moisturized, brightens & freshens tattoos, (yes, I can attest to this, as I have tattoos) AND repels mosquitoes! Plus, men really are attracted to the pheromones contained in it. I really love this stuff; you can add it to your bath water, spritz it on, or use it as a liquid-lotion–and it’s not greasy or clogging.

This is nice oil, but it’s very minty, and therefore, “cooling,” but not necessarily relaxing because of the strong smell– next time I would try something with lavender.

This oil is really good. It’s goes on smooth and silky and is easily absorbed by the skin. The scent isn’t too over-powering. The only negative thing I have to say is that I myself haven’t had it used on me.

Quality Oil at an Amazing Price

I also purchased this after watching Dr. Oz. I have not used it on my face but I have used it everywhere else. This is a high quality oil with staying power (a little goes a long way). The oil has a thick texture and is a deep orange color in a glass bottle with a wonderfully designed anti-mess dispenser. I don’t dislike the scent but I wouldn’t say it is a scent that I enjoy. The scent of the oil is hard to pinpoint; best described as earthy with a note of orange. Weleda Sea Buckthron oil is an excellent addition to homemade Body Butters. The oil also gives the butter a light orange tint.
Money well spend; highly recommend.

I purchased this product after watching Dr.Oz and he recommended the sea buckthorn oil for pimples. I have only been using this for 6 days and already my face is clearer than it has ever been. I have not had one pimple appear since I started using it. My face used to get oily midday and my make-up would start looking bad. Now my face is totally balanced; my make-up looks as smooth at bedtime as it did when I first applied in the morning. My face has never been so smooth and soft. Everyone should try this!!!

I bought this and several other Sea Buckthorn products to help out with my Keratosis Pilaris (little bumps you typically get on your arms/body).

Well, I have to say, I LOVE this stuff, period. It smells just awesome, love, love, love the smell! It can be a tad bit oily after you put it on (only a tiny bit), but it leaves your skin sooo soft and smooth. I also tried some sea buckthorn lotion, which I also like, but if I shower in the evening and am getting into my nightgown, I by FAR prefer this one, because it doesn’t matter if I’m a bit oily when I go to bed! My skin has really improved since I’ve started using it… and the more often I use it, the softer and less noticeable are all those little faults in my skin. I use it on my whole body (minus the face), and I really love it! Highly recommend it!

Cleared up my adult acne!

I got a pretty bad case of adult acne after I gave birth to my first child. I had terrible cystic acne all over my jaw and cheeks. It was recommended to me to use some products with Sea Buckthorn oil in them. I stumbled across this bottle at my local health food store and started using it on my face twice a day. Within in a month I noticed a significant improvement in my skin.
The oil absorbs well and smells great. It can leave your skin a bit orange looking which is why I use less in the morning than at night.
Over time this oil has made my skin smoother, old acne scars are fading and my face is not nearly as oily as it used to be. I highly, highly recommend this product! It has given me my confidence back.
